Bio

HeadshotRobert Lowman is a dancer and choreographer in the San Francisco Bay Area. He trained in classical ballet, tap, and jazz, and received a mark of Distinction for his Advanced II Royal Academy of Dance Vocational Examination.

Robert went on to study modern technique, choreography, costume design, and performance theory and history while earning B.A.’s in Dance and Theater & Performance Studies. Prior to graduating, he performed in new works by Katie Faulkner, Scott Wells, and fellow student choreographers. He also presented his own original choreography in Fall Choreography Showcase 2012.

Robert has performed in new dance works by Marit Brook-Kothlow, Becky Robinson-Leviton, and Rosalia Lerner. He has also danced the roles of the Nutcracker Prince and Russian Ribbons in Peninsula Ballet Theatre’s production of Carlos Carvajal’s The Nutcracker and The Nutcracker Sweet.
